You must be kind, when others hate that you are well,
paint paths to heaven, when others wish you to hell.

Forgive quickly, those who have no understanding of the whole.
You must be just, treating rich and poor the same.
You must bear up, when there is one left to take the blame.
You must be wise, when foolish, ones lose their way.
You must be humble, remembering, you are only clay.
You must seek peace, even in the midst of war.
You must keep going, though your journey, is a bit too far.
You must not hate, even those who have done you wrong,
care for the weak, even when you, yourself, are not too strong.
You must have faith, though it leaves you without friends.
You must believe, when others would not believe again.
You must laugh, at yourself, like others do,
but not poke fun at those less fortunate than you.
You must speak truth, though the lie has a better sound,
if in for a penny, be willing to spend a pound.
You must give thanks for every blessing that you have shared,
saying grace for every trouble you've been spared.
